Brian Mottet - Senior Counsel
Brian Mottet has successfully litigated cases in Dallas/Fort Worth area for 20 years.  His primary focus has been personal injury and wrongful death cases involving general negligence, product liability, premises liability, Texas Tort Claims Act, commercial motor vehicles, and class action litigation.  He operated his own well–respected litigation law firm for more than 4 years prior to joining Miller & Brown.  Mr. Mottet has extensive litigation experience on both sides of disputes and has built a solid reputation for integrity and obtaining results.

Mr. Mottet has tried nearly 50 cases to jury verdict and obtained a favorable result for his client in nearly every case.  He has an excellent understanding of trial dynamics and “real world” issues that affect jury verdicts.  Mr. Mottet is an accomplished communicator who possesses excellent persuasion, negotiation, and public speaking skills.

Mr. Mottet received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Clair in 1981 (major/minor: Finance/Accounting).  He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 1985.  Mr. Mottet is licensed to practice law in Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
